Gary Oldman Gets Married to His Fifth Wife
Fifth time’s a charm! Actor Gary Oldman got married to his fifth wife, Gisele Schmidt, this past August, the Associated Press reported on Friday, Nov. 10.
The publication states that the British star had wedding number five (yes, five) at his friend and manager Doug Urbanksi’s home in Beverly Hills amongst dozens of friends, Urbanski shared. AP also claims Gary said in an interview that he did this whole thing “quietly.” No further details about the ceremony have been revealed at this time, but we’re hoping to see some photos one day!

The newlyweds were most recently seen at the premiere of Darkest Hour on Wednesday, Nov. 8 — and the two looked so happy together! Gary was previously hitched to Lesley Manville — with whom he has a 29-year-old son, Alfie — from 1987 to 1989. He and Uma Thurman were then husband and wife from 1990 until 1992, but they had no kids together. He and his third wife, Donya Fiorentino, were married from 1997 until 2001 and are parents to two sons, Gulliver, 20, and Charlie, 18.
Gary then married his fourth wife, Alexandra Edenborough, on New Year’s Eve in 2008. They then separated after six years of marriage in mid-2014 and announced their divorce in January of 2015. It was previously reported that Gary allegedly had to pay the actress $3.3 million in their divorce settlement. Yikes. They also had no children together.

Garry is most-known for his roles in the Harry Potter films, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, The Book of Eli, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Criminal, The Space Between Us, and more. We’re just happy the 59-year-old now has a date for his movie premieres — and we’re just hoping this marriage works out for the best!
