Jonas Brother Mourns Sudden Death in the Family

It’s well known that the Jonas Brothers are super close — after all, they have an entire band together. However, tragedy has shaken the family, as they mourn the loss of one of their own.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have reportedly sought out therapy in the midst of what would be their honeymoon bliss, as the couple has faced a sudden tragedy in their short marriage. The pair is handling a “freak” death in their little family, and insiders say that the loss has been difficult for them both.

The pair’s Alaskan Klee Kai puppy, named Waldo Picasso, was hit by a car on Saturday, July 27th, in what a rep for the pair called a “freak accident.”

“Their dog walker had Waldo on a leash when the dog got spooked by a pedestrian, broke free, ran into the street and was struck by a vehicle,” TMZ originally reported. The driver apparently drove off without being identified.

The pair originally adopted Waldo as their second pup last year, joining big brother Porky Basquiat, who was born from the same litter.

The pups obviously meant quite a bit to the couple, as they even included Porky in their wedding ceremony. Fans have been leaving supportive comments on the dog’s instgram account, where he has over 46,000 followers.

The couple waited nearly two days to report the accident, as they were grieving so heavily at the time. Even worse, the driver of the car won’t face any consequences for their actions. Because the animal is considered property, there won’t be any criminal charges.
