Kohberger, a PhD student at the University of Chicago, is accused of murdering four people on November 13, 2022: Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin. Also the arrest on December 30, 2022, resulted in him being charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of criminal burglary.

Brittney J Hislope has only posted positive things about him, despite the fact that the vast majority of people throughout the world, especially in the United States, are voicing their hatred at him.

Brittney J Hislope’s Messages on Facebook suggest a possible link to Bryan Kohberger. Aside from the fact that Hislope is a single 2019 Facebook user, nothing little else of importance can be gleaned from her profile. The mother has shared a large number of photos on the site, and several of them show her son. It seems like she only started writing about Kohberger recently.

One of her strange public posts read:  “I don’t want to lose sight of the seriousness of Bryan’s situation and when I think of people harming him and having no mercy on him and being inhumane I know that it affects me and although he’s innocent until proven guilty.”

Possible conflict of interest issue in Bryan Kohberger case

It has come to light that the lawyer who is representing Bryan Kohberger has ties to the family of a second victim of the murders at the University of Idaho. According to court records viewed by Inside Edition Digital, public defender Anne Taylor previously represented Madison Mogen’s father and stepmother in now-closed felony cases.

Ms. Taylor was representing Xana Kernodle’s mother, Cara Northington, on drug charges at the time of Mr. Kohberger’s arrest, and this fact has now revealed the relationship between the two.

After taking on Mr. Kohberger’s case on 5 January, the same day she appeared in court in Moscow for the first time on his behalf on allegations of murdering Kernodle, Mogen, Ethan Chapin, and Kaylee Goncalves, the attorney terminated her as a client, according to court documents filed on that date. Ms. Northington stated that she was “betrayed” by the lawyer.

A possible conflict of interest exists due to the close relationships with the victims’ relatives. Additionally, it has come to light that Mr. Kohberger spoke with Pullman Police Chief Gary Jenkins for a research assistant post in public safety months before the deaths. The fate of Mr. Kohberger’s August 1st start date job application is unknown at this time.
